Main Stories
    The main stories follow the linear time line of The Unlikely Stories Series

• The Unlikely Affair (2007) – the original story in the multipart The Unlikely Stories series. Ron knew his wife was cheating on him, but he didn't have any proof or for that matter who she was cheating on him with. One day bad weather causes Ron to cancel an out-of-town appointment at the last minute. Upon returning home he discovers all the proof he needs that his wife is cheating on him. However, with whom she is cheating with and the events thereafter lead to what would become The Unlikely Affair.

• The Unlikely Opportunity (2009) – the exciting second part of The Unlikely Stories series by AZOutback and picks up where The Unlikely Affair ended. As the Merlot's wind down from their wedding and honeymoon, a new crisis looms. The Merlot's best friends, The McGrawl's fall on to hard times when a business deal goes horribly sideways. Just when they think they've hit rock bottom, The Unlikely Opportunity presents itself.

• The Unlikely Visitor (2012) –  As The Merlot Family celebrates Christmas, how are they to know that the New Year will bring an Unlikely Visitor to the Merlot's Manson. A man with a mysterious past, loved by some; hated by others; but with such a good business deal that no one, not even Ron's sister can refuse.

• The Unlikely Offers (2013) -- The drama with Chugwater is behind the Merlot's, but that with the 'little' mishap between Lindsay and Wynn still lingers. Add Maya into the mix and you've got a powder keg ready to blow. Ron hopes it will all end soon. However, everyone is caught off guard by some Unlikely Offers.

• The Unlikely Changes (2015) – Ron thinks he knows how everything is going to workout. However, as he should have learned by now; nothing every goes as planned and the end result leads to some Unlikely Changes?

• The Unlikely Gift (2018) –Maya has always felt she has 'owed' Sara so much for getting her out of Frisco and everything else she has done for her. She has always had a talent for locating things, she decides she going to try to locate something that once belonged to her sister. Unfortunately, she hits hits some speed bumps along the way of getting The Unlikely Gift. Once she works past those issues she can focus on Peaches as well as "the gift", something once belonging to her sister.

• The Unlikely Reunion (2020) –  A lot has happened over the last several years with Ron and the rest of the family. A series of chain of events will lead to The Unlikely Reunion of people and places from everyone's past.

• The Unlikely Celebrations (2021) -- The Unlikely Reunion left off. Personal and business accomplishments which seemed improbable only a few year ago with Ron's friends and families will lead to The Unlikely Celebrations.
  
  
• The Unlikely Announcements (2022) -- The Unlikely Celebrations left off. As yet another year for the Merlots and their extended family draws to a close some close friends/associates make some Unlikely Announcements.
  
  
• The Unlikely Vacation (2023)  -- An out-of-state job for family lead to what would become an Unlikely (and permanent) Vacation for The Merlot “Family”.

• The Unlikely Partnership (2008) - the 'prequel' to The Unlikely Affair. A background of The Unlikely Stories series with introduction of the base characters. Story takes place about a year prior to The Unlikely Affair. Who would have thought an Unlikely Partnership between brother and sister could be so profitable and dramatic?
  
  
• The Unlikely Holidays (2011/2013) – a special holidays story of The Unlikely Stories series by AZOutback. The Merlot Family get ready to celebrate the holidays. One thing leads to another which leads to yet another which leads into what would become The Unlikely Holidays. NOTE: This story was revised in 2013 with new content.
  
  
• The Unlikely Friendship (2023) - a special story in The Unlikely Stories series by AZOutback. A look back at an Unlikely Friendship over the past couple decades between the Merlot and Zinfandel families.
